About Me

I love making beautiful, responsive UI. As a developer with strong UX experience, I am driven to produce apps that feel natural to use and inspire delight in the user.

Recently, I have become interested in graphics programming and have taught myself C and OpenGL, and have completed a number of projects with them.

An avid traveller, I enjoy exploring new places for inspiration. My hobbies also include calligraphy, running and film critique. I'm currently reading David Foster Wallace's Infinite Jest, and am jamming to Jorja Smith in my coding sessions.

  Owner of TikTok’s UI component library for desktop and mobile web. Driving the expansion of the TikTok design system to cover desktop and mobile web, involving:

  I collaborated with a global team of designers focused on elevating the standard of design across the organization and explore state-of-the-art concepts and technology.

  Worked with specialised, proprietary hardware and software, requiring the creation of high quality documentation and a strong understanding of its inner workings.

  Jul 2018 – Oct 2020

  Worked closely with designers and product managers on cross-functional teams to launch experiments in the form of prototypes and A/B tests. As well as this, I contributed to our company-wide design system and component library with an emphasis on accessibility.

  I also trained full-stack engineers in modern front-end practices with workshops and in pairing sessions for our production codebase.
